I Heart Libraries

Ever since I was rescued from the fresh hell called homeroom by our junior high school librarian, who allowed me to become and aide, I’ve had a soft soft in my heart for librarians and books. So it thrills me that Soul Enchilada’s debut has occurred not in a bookstore, but in a library. Catalogs of both Greenwich and Nassau County System (NY) public libraries are showing the novel as available. W00t!

In a nice bit of kizmet, Debbi Michiko Florence has posted an interview with me on her website. The incredi-Debbi is also giving away a free signed copy of Soul Enchilada on her livejournal blog. Rules: Comment about my interview on the Debbi’s blog post by midnight Pacific Standard Time, April 9. You must have a USA mailing address. Winner will be announced on Debbi’s blog on April 10. I can’t wait to see who wins it! Double W00t!

Debbi’s new Japan book has a terrific cover, too! I’ve been to Japan three times, so I’m excited to see if she has written about some of the places I’ve visited.

Less than five days until the official release of Soul Enchilada! Maybe sooner! W00t!
